The Washington NASA Space Grant Consortium offers scholarships for students in science, engineering, or math at Washington State University. These competitive scholarships are based on academic achievement, a personal essay, a letter of recommendation from a faculty mentor, and future academic promise. At WSU we are directing these funds to undergraduates who will carry out undergraduate research projects in a field broadly related to activities that are of interested to NASA. Many students are interested in carrying out research at the undergraduate level, and, through this program, the College of Arts and Sciences and the Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture hope to enable students to begin participating in supervised science and engineering research at an early stage in their academic careers.
